Treatment Control System
Record and Verify, a treatment session manager and a treatment control system that orchestrates the operation of the radiation therapy device, enables users to execute clinical and QA workflows. TreatmentOne offers optimized workflows and required features to overcome BNCT devices’ operation and integration challenges. TreatmentOne is easily configurable for any customer-specific BNCT device configuration.
Patient Positioning and Motion Management
The motion control system of TreatmentOne coordinates and controls different motion devices of a radiation therapy device, including the patient positioning system, and the imaging system. Optical tracking and path-planning algorithms are employed for singularity and collision avoidance. Based on image registration results, TreatmentOne brings the patient to the correct position.
Image Guidance and Patient Position Verification
Reliable image guidance and patient position verification are critical. Today’s imaging systems need to support future upgrades for new treatment modalities. PositionOne supports all standard imaging modalities and imaging devices used in various treatment room configurations. It seamlessly integrates the overall treatment workflow and allows simple upgrades and support for new imaging modalities.
Accelerator Control System
The accelerator control system is the core of every beam production system. Controlling and monitoring hundreds of different inputs, real-time in a sub-microsecond synchronized manner is essential. AcceleratorOne offers a complete, reliable development platform that significantly accelerates the development of your beamline and accelerator. AcceleratorOne supports all standard accelerator types and targets (Li, Be).
Dose Delivery
Demanding performance and safety requirements make the dose delivery system one of the key devices in a BNCT facility. Its development, continuous maintenance and upgrades require experience, established medical development processes and significant continuous effort. It interfaces with the accelerator, and it is responsible for the proton/neutron flux control, dose monitoring, shutter and apertures motion control.
Safety System
A safety interlock system ensures the safety of everyone involved with the operation of a BNCT facility: patients, clinical users, service and maintenance personnel, and others are protected. All prerequisites are controlled before allowing the user to execute the next step in the treatment workflow.
